Talk for Peace with Gran Emiko from Hiroshima えみこばあちゃんと話す平和

leave a comment »

We met Ms. Emiko Okada in Hiroshima in September. She is a witness of Hiroshima and talks about her experience in Hiroshima Peace Museum and all over the world. We realized that ‘nuclear’ started in A-bomb, following nuclear testings, using depleted uranium and finally the accidnet in Fukushima. She got an A-bomb at the age of 8 and lost her sister. She started talking to the public when she became 50 years old. Her story is sad but she never gives up hopes for peace in the world. Thanks to the kind cooperation of Rankoshi-town, we are able to invite her to Sapporo. Please join us and meet Emiko.
